Ranks in this game are roleplay positions. The 2025 clan-roles walkthrough, which links place 3663340706, teaches them from the Warriors books and says you do not have to have read the books. A server can also be using newer role labels. Some localized Roblox descriptions have advertised Spring 2.0 cat roles and new Clan camps without listing them. If a server's labels differ, follow that server.
Ranks the role guide teaches
| Rank | What the guide says you do |
|---|---|
| Kit | Under six moons. Born in the Clan or taken in. Low-pressure camp scenes. |
| Apprentice | Usually receives a mentor, learns the territory, and trains to hunt and fight. The guide puts training around four to six moons, ending in an assessment the mentor reports to the leader. |
| Medicine cat apprentice | Trains with the medicine cat instead of a warrior mentor. |
| Warrior | Hunts, patrols, defends, and can mentor. |
| Senior warrior | A warrior played as long-experienced. |
| Queen | Nursery and kits. |
| Medicine cat | Herbs, injuries, and the spiritual side of Clan life. |
| Elder | Stories and counsel. The guide also mentions apprentices clearing ticks and moss beds as camp chores. |
| Deputy | Organizes patrols and stands in for the leader. |
| Leader | Ceremonies, disputes, and the Clan's public decisions. |
| Daylight warrior | A less common role in the same guide. Confirm what the server expects before you use the name. |
| Mediator | A dispute-handling role in the same guide. It needs the other players' trust. |
Who should play which rank first
Apprentice and warrior are the practical starts. Both have a reason to be on a patrol. Kit, queen, and elder work when you want camp scenes and less combat. Medicine cat is a good fit only after you know where herbs are logged in Starpedia. Deputy and leader need a group that agrees you hold the rank. Sitting on the leader's rock because it is empty is a common new-player mistake other players already recognize.
Changing rank
Nothing in the public controls shows a forced promotion button. Players change rank through ceremonies and agreement. A big change, such as leaving a Clan, reads more clearly when it happens in a scene instead of a silent menu swap.
The comparison on the tier list is an editorial note about first-session fit. It is not a power ranking and it is not an official order.
