Starpedia's resource list has ten herbs. Picking one up unlocks its page. The Sage badge description is "Discover all of the knowledge that can be found in the Forest." One Starpedia write-up says the badge requires every herb and every territory. The badge write-up lists the ten herbs. Do both: log every herb and open every territory page, then check whether the scarf appears.
The scarf is a neck accessory in the creator. The expired code Lyronyx granted the same Star Scarf.
The ten herbs
| Herb | Where it is documented | Recorded use |
|---|---|---|
| Borage | All four territories, often by stumps or trees. Blue or pink star-shaped flowers. | Fevers, queens' milk, bellyache, tight chest. Eaten or chewed. |
| Catmint | Twoleg gardens and nests, the mansion at the RiverClan corner, Carrionplace, and the barn fence. Not on ordinary Clan ground. | Greencough and whitecough. Eaten. |
| Chervil | Snakerocks in ThunderClan, also RiverClan near rocks and the medicine-den side of the river, and the WindClan moor. Fern-like leaves, small white flowers. | Infected wounds from the leaves, bellyache from the root. |
| Cobweb | Fallen trees, dark holes, the barn, Carrionplace, and the Thunderpath tunnel. No single spawn. A stick used to be required to harvest it and is not required now. | Bleeding, holding a poultice, binding a splint. |
| Dock | Leafy ground in ShadowClan and ThunderClan, and in RiverClan by trees or the Twoleg nest. | Soothes scratches and may sting. Also sore pads and wrapping other herbs. |
| Juniper berries | Dry ground in ShadowClan, ThunderClan, and sometimes WindClan. Scarce in RiverClan. Small pale-green bushes, purple-blue berries. | Bellyache, breathing, calming, a strength tonic. |
| Moss | Wet ground, pools, Sunningrocks, RiverClan and ShadowClan water. Not on the WindClan moor except around Fourtrees. | Carry water, bedding, backup for bleeding. |
| Poppy | All territories, easiest near the ThunderClan and RiverClan camps and Snakerocks. Scarcer in ShadowClan. Tall stem, short yellow petals. | Seeds fed for sleep and shock. Not recommended for queens. |
| Thyme | Hot riverbanks, mostly RiverClan and ShadowClan. Thin dark-centered stem. | Shock, stress, and anxiety. A Twolegplace variant is described for coughs and indigestion. |
| Yarrow | Snakerocks, rocks in WindClan, trees in ShadowClan, and near the Burnt Sycamore. | Poultice for wounds and poison, vomiting toxins, cracked pads. |
Bark is listed in herb notes as not an in-game item. Do not hunt for it.
Why pinned maps disagree
The herb map drawn for the 2020-2023 layout is explicitly outdated because a newer map moved the plants. A February 2025 route for WindClan sends players to Fourtrees for moss, poppy, and thyme, and finds yarrow, juniper, dock, and borage on paths out of camp. A November 2024 collection video was made because older guides had gone stale. Use the territory clues, then let the new Starpedia page confirm the plant you picked.
Comments on the 2025 route also place RiverClan chervil near thyme by the medicine den: out of the den, across the river, then right. That is a player pin, not a permanent marker.
Tracker
The Sage herb tracker on the calculator page subtracts the number of unique herbs you type from 10. It does not know whether your territories are unlocked.
